Changing People's Lives one person at a time!

It takes very large numbers to describe anything having to do with China. More than 1.3 billion people live in the country moving around with more than 700 million bicycles.

The communist country of China is a country of incredible contrast. They are the world's largest producers of Bibles, and yet it is hard for Chinese citizens to own and practice what is written inside those Bibles!

If you visit cities like Shanghai in Eastern China, you hardly feel that you’re in a communist society. But only a couple hours to the west (off the typical tourist’s map), police patrols surround the brave people that choose to come and gather at some of the home-churches.

Changing People’s Lives, Inc. is pleased to be allowed to serve within such a large society of loving, hard-working and dedicated people. We love to support mission projects in areas where the presence of the Seventh-day Adventist message is not yet fully allowed. Humanitarian projects allow us to open the door to life-changing experiences. Our biggest on-going project in China is a work program for young people, pairing them with cities or villages, and training them in using their own hands to care for hundreds of people with leprosy.

The Seventh-day Adventist Church does not have the privilege of developing the same regular administrative structure that we have in other parts of the world. For example, the headquarters of the Seventh-day Adventist Church is not located in mainland China, but rather, in Hong Kong. Regardless of their location, the church leaders provide an inspiration that is deeply appreciated by all growing congregations and new believers across China.

The basis of the structure of the Adventist Church in China is the concept of MOTHER and DAUGHTER churches. Changing People’s Lives Inc. is fully involved in the Adventist program to establish and develop these small churches. Together, with our CPL Faith Partners, we sponsor the Lay Mission Pastors that speak and lead at hundreds of Daughter Churches, who would otherwise lack the financial resources to hire their own leaders.

Right now we have the additional blessing in the form of our current Seventh-day Adventist President, who has done so much to advance God’s mission work in communist China. Consider helping us place a bible that says, “Made in China” into the hands of the people in the Yunnan province and for the people of Tibet who live in China.

We leave the above special request in your hands to pray about and see how God will lead you to partner with Him in something so unique and special. WE NEED YOUR HELP in accomplishing so many more urgent mission projects within this country.

Won’t you make a commitment to become a tool of God that could change people’s lives within this large country, the sleeping spiritual giant by the name of China?  Someone’s eternal salvation may rest in your hands.

"Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous works among all the peoples!"
